how to get...

So I wanted to type in "how to get Jesus in your life" on google and see what would come up. All I had to type in was "how to get" to see some suggestions. Here are the 10 google came up with.

How to get pregnant
How to get a passport
How to get rid of a Hickey
How to get a guy to like you
How to get rid of warts
How to get rid of acne
How to get rid of love handles
How to get rid of ants
How to get a six pack
How to get a divorse in Idaho

I noticed that most of the things were things that if you got it or didn't have it, life would seem better. But really how would life get any better without God in your life? I think that should be the very first thing, but this just shows that in the world we live in, it's not even in the top 10 things. I don't know why I decided to blog this but I guess it's just something to think about.

The Best Thing

There is this song by Relient K called "The Best Thing". I've been listening to it over and over because it really fits into my life. The song begins with:

It's been a year, filled with problems, but now you're here, almost as if to solve them, I can't live in a World without you now.

For me it has been a hard year, but when God came in, he solved everything. I'm so thankful I have him even when I may have no one else. He gives us strength when we need it, forgiveness when we ask for it, and love no matter what. He has blessed me with friends who stongly believe in him also and I'm so thankful for that. God has given me more than I could ever ask for, so what more do I need when I've already found God, The Best Thing?

This Is Home

So this is one of my favorite pictures. Whenever I'm with my friends and we're just sitting in a circle on the grass, I take a picture of all our legs and feet and whatever is on the ground. Then, later on I look back on it and I see memories of the whole day we all were together and all that happened. And just from that I can still picture the expression on everyones face. It was the last day of school and there were probably 25 of us there, but not all could fit in the picture sadly. We were all just at a park..I could go on and on with the memories, but my main point is, when I look at this picture, all I can say is: This Is Home. My friends have become more than just my friends, they're my family.

It makes me wonder when Jesus came to Earth, who all did he feel was his family. I'm sure his parents and disiples but was there anyone else? How big was Jesus's family, a family built with close friends? Just makes me wonder sometimes. He seemed pretty close to his disiples and it kind of reminds me of friendships these days, we're so close with our friends, then the trust can be broken so quickly, we betray our friends sometimes just like Jesus's desiiples did. I don't know about Jesus and his friends, but with mine, they're my family and when I'm with them I feel like this is home.

After Every Storm...

So lately life has been busy with summer and so much to do. I've found that being away from my friends too long causes me to go into a panic attack. Just kidding! No, but I really do miss my friends. God has been good to me though, giving me lots of opportunities to see them. This summer is bringing me new things I honestly wasn't expecting. I won't go into detail with what those are, but all I can say is I can feel God pushing me onward on my path and lighting it up so its so much easier now a days. God is so good to me and I'm super lucky. Now, looking at the wonderful sky he's created, I see the real beauty that comes after every storm.

love much!

Summer is coming so fast I can't believe. I would just like to say to whoever decides to take the time and read this, you mean the world to me and I love you very much. I'm so thankful for all the people in my life. God has truely blessed me with so many amazing friends. This summer I hope I can still stay in contact with them because I'd miss them too much if I never got to see them anymore. Even though a lot of my friends won't be going to school with me anymore, they will still be just as important to me and I hope that God always keeps us together.
Summer is coming. 3 1/2 more school days until I'm officially a freshman!!!

XOXO ~Natalie

Have a wonderful last week before summer!

Life is Good (:

So this year is almost over and I can't believe that. I'm honestly gonna miss it. I'm gonna miss the good times and the bad. I have so many amazing people in my life it sometimes just seems like a dream. Most of them are in these pictures, but about 10 probably aren't. I don't know what I'd do without my friends and I'm so thankful for all the times I get to spend with them. God puts friends in our lifes to lift us up when we're down and to support us when we're up. I'm so thankful God gave me amazing friends! I love you guys!

Strength in the Beauty

So I haven't blogged in a while...sorry. I've been so busy with life just like usual. But anyway, right now I think it's time to talk about this weather of Spring. Spring is finally here, even if the sun sometimes is not. And I find that even when it's raining, hailing, windy, or just a nice sunny day, God still puts beauty in it. This beauty gives me some strength some what. When I'm down, sometimes just going outside and enjoying any type of weather is a perfect "pick me up". Last night there was a beautiful sunset and I just went outside on the porch in my pajamas and watched it. The air was peaceful and it was quiet. And with that silence, I had a chance to enjoy God speaking to me through the beauty and silence of that sunset. What a blessing that was to me. Now I feel some what revived like I can finish up these next few weeks of school the best I can. Ignoring the drama. Enjoying the smiles, laughter, and just being with the people I love. Gotta remember the good memories and times rather than just the bad ones.

Anyway to end this thought. I love God. I love this weather. I love my friends. Can't wait for summer, but for now, I'm happy with the spring.
Love, Natalie
